Substitute Frame
The Substitute Frame is used with a "basket case" body that needs lots of support from underneath or a body like the '55-7 T-Bird or Corvette whose front fenders don't come off. It is a more expensive alternative to the Standoffs, but it gives you up to 12" of working room under the body vs. 6" for the Standoffs. This also allows the frame and body to be reworked at the same time. It has 6, 8 or 10 adjustable attach points that can be set to profile your frame. Each attach arm has 12 inches of adjustment in all three directions. The 10 position one has two taller post in the rear for the Corvette.
